Vulnerability Assessor Journeyman

Gray Tier Technologies is seeking a Vulnerability Assessor with an active Secret clearance to support our DOI customer's Security Operation Center in Denver Colorado.

The Department of the Interior (DOI) protects America’s natural resources and heritage, honors our cultures and tribal communities, and supplies the energy to power our future. The DOI’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Cyber Security Division, is charged with protecting DOI’s information systems from ever-evolving Cyber Threats. The Cybersecurity Branch continuously evolves, develops, and updates its Cybersecurity capabilities in Order to mitigate constantly evolving threats most effectively.

Position responsibilities and requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 6 years of experience required
• Manages extensive evaluations of enterprise-wide information security networks, prepares evaluation reports, presents recommendations.
• Conducts trade off analyses of products to determine optimal informant security solutions.
• Provides consulting services on a wide variety of information assurance topics.
• Provides recommendations on information assurance engineering standards, implementation dependencies, and changing information assurance related technologies.
• Prepares remedial options and supervise correction of information security shortfalls.
• Works independently and provides leadership across cybersecurity team in expert role.

Maintains expertise of evolving cybersecurity threats. Cybersecurity certification and two additional years of experience can substitute for Bachelor’s degree.
